The Big Picture, The Gathering Storm

Terry James has just written another excellent commentary - one that captures my feelings over the last 2-3 weeks. If you take a step back and take a look at where we are on the timeline-sequence of events, in terms of the big picture, it is pretty haunting. Considering the massive loss of freedoms, the growing police state, the threats of financial collapse, economic wars, proxy wars, the alignment of nations against Israel, the rise of ISIS, Russia and Iran having military troops and bases to the north of Israel, nuclear threats, EMP threats, the immigration crisis, the threats of the UNSC dividing Jerusalem and Israel in a binding agreement, the increasing quakes and volcanoes, including the threats of Yellowstone and San Andreas, Agenda 21, corruption in politics, South China Sea tensions, ISIS infiltrating the U.S. and Europe, persecution, and on and on the list goes. We get desensitized at times as the news comes in waves on a daily basis.

The next couple of articles take a look at the big picture - serving as an important reminder of where we are in the generation:

Like it does from time to time while lurching toward the end of this troubled age, the world, prophetically speaking, seems to be pausing to catch its breath.
We’ve sometimes called it a “lull” because prophetic progression appears to be on hold. It’s kind of like in the south when a severe springtime storm is about to produce a big tornado. Everything gets eerily still.
What is actually happening, I’m told, is that the big super-cell thunderhead is sucking the surrounding atmosphere into its building vortex. All turns a greenish-yellow color and not a leaf is rustling.
One of the mistakes we who observe things on a global scale with regard to Bible prophecy make is to view things too much from our American perspective, I think. Things seem to be whirling around us, but the larger picture presents a different view.
You hear the rumbling and see the lightning flashing on the black horizon, but all is perfectly still, as if the complexion of the earth has taken on a sickly pallor. It seems that this humanistic system is holding its collective breath in somewhat of a perceived pause in these scary moments.
Presidential politics right now in the U.S., on the other hand, are anything but eerily calm. For example, the campaign rhetoric and vitriol are raw rough and tumble. Americans who see things through a strictly political prism believe this is a storm we are in–one that will determine where our world will be torn apart, depending upon who wins the presidency. The atmosphere is turbulent. We are in the midst of a terrible, national storm with the nation’s future at stake.
That might all be true, but on a global basis, thinking in terms of Bible prophecy, there seems to this eschatological weather observer to be an environment surrounding us with an ominous pallor that harbors far greater lethality. There portends within the building storm clouds far greater dangers than those given off by the political winds that are whipping us all into a frenzy here in America.
Internationally, the powers and principalities of Ephesians 6: 12 are working quietly behind the scenes. They are striving as hard as ever before to bring about that great, end-times tornado the Lord terms Tribulation.
One can sense, if spiritually attuned to the pre-storm goings-on, the very corruptive atmosphere of fallen man being drawn into the coming Tribulation vortex. Yet there seems to be for the moment an eerie calm, despite evidence everywhere one looks of brewing trouble.
The president of the United States is reportedly working with the United Nations to bring about a  two-state solution to the “Palestinian-Israeli problem” before he leaves office. Israel, itself, remains basically in a lull, while looking in every direction at a storm that is gathering against it. Russia and its headstrong president are making strange, unanticipated withdrawal gestures and movements in and around Syria and other entrant points to the Middle East. North Korea blusters ahead with nuclear and missile tests, actions intended to threaten it’s immediate neighbor, South Korea, and the rest of us as well. China builds islands in international waters then claims them as their territory, while building military bases upon the newly formed land to threaten anyone who dares question its intentions.
Iran continues to silently work on a nuclear program that it no doubt thinks will one day be used against the Great Satan and the little Satan–the U.S. and Israel.
The world’s building economic disaster expands by the hour like an embolism within the human brain. The silent bubble could erupt explosively at any time, bringing the global, financial catastrophe many fear.
Agents of the Father of Lies work feverishly and incessantly to implant within the fallen minds of mankind that Christianity is a viper’s nest of hatred. Just to our northern border, Canada’s supreme judicial body has ruled in a number of cases that biblical text can be construed as hate speech that must not and will not be tolerated. One pastor spent 10 years and more than $200,000 to finally get a reversal of such a charge against him. Americans would be foolish to assume that such a devilish invasion of evil jurisprudence isn’t in Satan’s plans for this nation. As a matter of fact, we’ve already  experienced such evil at some level. The cases involving the homosexual agenda and bakeries and flower shops that refuse to provide services for same-sex marriages come to mind.
All of the above and much more give evidence of the very atmosphere of liberty we have enjoyed since the country’s founding being sucked into the building thunderhead that will produce the greatest storm in human history.
While the world catches its breath, the  power of the storm continues to build. Satan seems as if he will have his way against all of humanity in this great destructive era that now rumbles upon earth’s angry horizon.
But, Jesus said:
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)
The Lord promised the believer who is alive at the time this end-times storm threatens:
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (Revelation 3:10)
It is altogether fitting and appropriate to echo the words of John the revelator: “Even so, come Lord Jesus” (Rev. 22:20b).

For Americans there are two things of which many Christians seemingly are unaware: "Agenda 21" and "George Soros." Both have had a huge effect on the direction of the United States for the last 15 to 20 years and to disregard them as just "conspiracy theories" could literally lead to our downfall as a world power—or even the loss of freedoms we take for granted.

But understanding what and who they are, and the detrimental influence they have had on our country, is absolutely necessary to know...unless you want to take an ostrich approach to our problems.

So below is a summary of Agenda 21...not meant to be fully in-depth, but hopefully enough to give you the big picture.

Agenda 21

While Christian conservatives are focused on the fight to elect politicians who espouse Biblical values, most of us are unaware of the socialism being inserted into our local communities through Agenda 21. Never heard of Agenda 21? If not, that's what they're counting on.

Agenda 21 is a world agenda that is directly affecting your life, liberty and pursuit of happiness...yet few have even heard of the phrase.

Agenda 21, in a nutshell, is a United Nations program promoting socialist goals that attack U.S. constitutionally protected freedoms and liberties.

(And if you're not worried about the stupid U.N., think again. Liberals are pushing for the U.N.'s laws to be superior to our laws. But that's a whole different subject I won't get into now.)

Agenda 21 is the blueprint for the United Nations to control the world. Yes, they actually think they can. And the Bible says eventually there WILL be a world government, so we're watching Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

Agenda 21 is an abbreviation of "The Global Agenda for the 21st Century." It got its start in 1992 when the United Nations held a huge conference in Rio de Janeiro called "The United Nations' Conference on Environment and Development"  or "The Real Earth Summit."

The U.S. Congress never approved Agenda 21, but President George H. W. Bush (Senior), Clinton and Obama have all signed Executive Orders implementing it in the U.S.!

According to U.N. literature, Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be implemented globally, nationally and locally by the U.N. to cover every area in which humans affect the environment...which is, of course, everything.

The program is not secret, but openly promoted within the U.N.'s public socialistic objectives.

However, they stealthily have substituted the words "Sustainable Development" for "Environment" in order to be more acceptable to Americans. So pay attention to the word "sustainable" in the future.

Since the Rio Summit, the U.N. has mostly bypassed national governments using Agenda 21's International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) to make agreements directly with local governments.

Agenda 21 authors admit that it "...calls for specific changes in the activities of all people." No one would be free from the watchful eye of the proposed global tracking and information system.

Sound familiar? Rev 13:16-18 talks about getting to the point that every person on the planet will be controlled from one place.

This happens a few years after the Rapture, so as this moves along, the closer we are to our "twinkling of an eye" exit (1 Cor 15:51-52).

The ultimate goal of Agenda 21, now cleverly referred to as "Growth Management," "Smart Growth," or "Comprehensive Planning," is to cram people into small livable areas in order to institute population control.

Agenda 21 includes a plan for "social justice" that will redistribute wealth. The U.S. is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and naturally uses more energy, so we will be the hardest hit by environmental regulation.

Third world countries that cannot financially afford to comply with the ridiculous environmental regulations will continue their high levels of fossil fuel consumption, forcing the U.S. to conserve even more to make up for those countries.

Not surprisingly, Obama committed thousands of federal employees in 25 federal agencies to promote "sustainability" in rural areas, completely bypassing Congressional approval!

Agenda 21 will be difficult to defeat now that it is already ingrained into over 600 local governments across the U.S. It IS possible that if Republicans take over the White House, the President could ban Agenda 21. But don't hold your breath.

So the only way to actually fight this thing is to fight it locally. "Texans for Accountable Government" is doing this by educating local boards and commissions and serving on them. It's going to take that kind of grass roots action. See link below.

But don't miss the main objective of the U.N., which is total control of everyone and everything.

Even if it seems far-fetched to you and me, the fact is they believe it and the Bible predicts it. And for the world's elitists (Satan's minions) the U.S. is the last stumbling block to total control.

The idea of an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack disabling the U.S. energy grid has now gone mainstream.
A slide leaked to the Washington Examiner from a U.S. Air Force briefing show the military is now taking the threat very seriously.
Titled: “Our grids have become vulnerable”, the slide cataloged a spread of the potential threats including aging infrastructure, determined adversaries and severe natural disasters.
These warnings echo the efforts of Dr. Peter Vincent Pry, the Executive Director of the Task Force on National and Homeland Security and Director of the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum, who has been raising concerns about the potential threat North Korea, Iran, China, and Russia pose to the U.S. through EMP weaponry.
At the end of February, Dr. Pry wrote a report for the Gatestone Institute International Policy Council — a New York City-based think-tank  — detailing that there is overwhelming evidence that North Korea not only already has nuclear-armed missiles but could strike the U.S. mainland. He also stated that he believes North Korea has already tested a Super-EMP weapon capable of disabling the U.S. Energy grid.
Today, South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff reported that North Korea fired a short-range missile
In Tuesday’s incident, the projectile was fired from the coastal city of Wonsan and traveled more than 120 miles before hitting land, South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported, citing the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
North Korea fired a projectile believed to be a short-range missile Tuesday, the nation’s latest rebuke of sanctions and military exercises being conducted by the United States and South Korea.

Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamic extremist group, has killed more people in the name of jihad than the Islamic State (ISIS), according to the findings of a new report. Since 2000, when twelve Northern Nigerian states began implementing or more fully enforcing Islamic sharia law, "between 9,000 to 11,500 Christians" have been killed. This is "a conservative estimate."

In addition, "1.3 million Christians have become internally displaced or forced to relocate elsewhere," and "13,000 churches have been closed or destroyed altogether." Countless "thousands of Christian businesses, houses and other property have been destroyed."

The report alludes to a number of other factors that connect the growth of the Nigerian jihad to the growth of the global jihad. The rise of anti-Christian, Islamic supremacism "did not emerge in Northern Nigeria until the 1980s, when Nigerian scholars and students returned from Arabic countries influenced by Wahhabi and Salafist teaching.

"Not just radical Islam, Boko Haram being the most notable example, but also Muslim Hausa-Fulani herdsmen and the Northern Muslim political and religious elite are also major actors of targeted violence towards the Christian minority."

Most recently, on March 2, Nigerian human rights lawyer Emmanuel Ogebe sent an email saying: "I arrived Nigeria a few days ago to investigate what appears to be the worst massacre by Muslim [Hausa-Fulani] herdsmen... Over 500 Christian villagers were slain in one night."

Christians living under Sharia law are facing discrimination and marginalization and have limited to no access to federal rights."

The report finally finds that much of the anti-Christian violence derives from the historical "migration of Muslims into non-Muslim territories in northern Nigeria to promote the Islamic religious and missionary agenda in all parts of northern Nigeria."

In other words, what Christians in Nigeria are experiencing is a live snapshot of what millions of Christians and other non-Muslims have experienced since the seventh century, when Islam "migrated" to their borders: violence, persecution, enslavement, and the destruction of churches.

ISIS is planning an imminent attack on Jewish school children – in the next 24 hours or next few days.
Sky News has reported on detailed plans to slaughter youngsters in Turkey, with kindergartners being the prime target.
Last week several ISIS operatives spilled information about the plot after they were arrested in Gaziantep.  The possible mark is a synagogue in Beyoglu, which has a day care.  Neve Shalom had a shooting in 1986 and was bombed in 2003.
“In light of these circumstances, extraordinary security measures are being taken above and beyond the high alert level already in place by the Turkish police, as well as vigilance within the Jewish community,” an intelligence source told Sky News.
On March 19, four Israelis and one other person were killed by a suicide bomber in Istanbul.  In the last eight months, there have been six bombings in Turkey. ISIS is blamed for four and the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) for the other two.

In the aftermath of the recent attacks in Turkey, Belgium and Pakistan, intelligence agencies have been working to coordinate their moves.  They have also warned churches to be on alert.
Turkey has taken in three million refugees. So has Europe, and terrorists have been smuggled among them.
It is uncertain when the attack on the Jewish school was set to take place.  Israel has advised all their citizens to leave Turkey immediately, according to Times of Israel.
