In The News:

Christian Zionists Gather At Israel's Knesset

Hundreds of Christian supporters of Israel gathered at the Knesset in Jerusalem on Tuesday for the fourth Jerusalem Assembly, an event hosted by the parliament's Christian Allies Caucus. In attendance were 115 church leaders representing tens of thousands of churches and hundreds of millions of Christians from around the world.

The highlight of the gathering was a speech delivered by Israeli lawmaker Arye Eldad (National Union), who told the Christians it is time for Israel to annex Judea and Samaria and put a halt to the dangerous and ultimately doomed land-for-peace process.

Eldad said. “I am in favor of ending the Muslim occupation that began in the seventh century and establishing a Palestinian state in Jordan."

What is today known as "Jordan" was originally part of the territory of the British Mandate for Palestine, all of which was promised to the Jews in the Balfour Declaration and at the San Remo Conference in 1920. In historical and legal terms, all of what is today Jordan, Israel and the so-called "West Bank" forms a single territorial unity, and the Arabs who live in those various territories are of one ethnic and cultural background. The "Jordanian" and "Palestinian" national identities are modern inventions.

A year ago we were told that Egypt was going to become a moderate democratic state ruled by hip Facebook kids. Now we are told that we should be grateful Egypt is going to become a moderate Islamist republic ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood.

The Western media and governments have made terrible mistakes that will destabilize the Middle East — even more — for the rest of our lives, oppress tens of millions of people, cause tens of thousands to flee their countries, and cause thousands to die.

As the Muslim Brotherhood openly bids for a monopoly of power in Egypt, the U.S. government is once again supporting the Brotherhood rather than the moderates or army

The Muslim Brotherhood, breaking previous promises, is running a candidate for president of Egypt: Deputy Supreme Guide Khairat el-Shater.

As for not seeking to monopolize power? That’s what the Brotherhood gave as an explanation when it was only running candidates for a small portion of seats, then half of them, then every one. Each time, they explained they weren’t running a candidate for president because they didn’t want a monopoly on power.

How can the Brotherhood hold the presidency, control parliament, and write the constitution, and still not have a monopoly on power?

Between a catastrophic U.S. policy and a dumb-as-rocks Egyptian moderate strategy, Egypt should be an Islamist state in practice within one year. Then the Middle East is set for decades of turmoil while the United States faces its worst setback in the region since Iran’s revolution more than three decades ago.

The United States would not be safe from retaliation if Iran is attacked by Washington, the Iran newspaper quoted a senior Revolutionary Guards commander on Tuesday as saying.

“In the face of any attack, we will have a crushing response. In that case, we will not only act in the boundaries of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, no place in America will be safe from our attacks,” Massoud Jazayeri was quoted as saying by the daily.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday that international sanctions were hurting Iran’s economy but not enough to persuade it to curb its nuclear ambitions even slightly.

“The Iranian government … is having economic troubles but it has yet to move backward, even a millimeter, in its nuclear program,” Netanyahu told a news conference he called to mark his right-wing government’s third anniversary in power.

Condemned Iranian pastor Youcef Nadarkhani’s son received a birthday present – a visit with his father in an Iranian jail.

The visit also serves as a present for the pastor, whose birthday is next week, and evidence that he is still alive, reports the American Center for Law and Justice reports, which cited its sources in Iran.

ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow said the development “is significant because it underscores what millions of people around the world understand – that Iran’s illegal imprisonment of Pastor Youcef, and threatened execution, is a violation of international law.”

The ACLJ said that Nadarkhani’s birthday is next week and that the Iranian pastor accused of apostasy has only seen his family a small number of times in the three years he’s been in an Iranian prison.

Lopez said the visit could be Iran’s attempt to gain approval from the international community.

“They’ll project the image of reasonableness when what this is really about is enforcement of Islamic law on apostasy,” Lopez said.

While Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu refrained from mentioning military options in presenting his government’s three-year record Tuesday, April 3 – ignoring the three large-scale military movements afoot by the US, Russia, Turkey, Syria, Greece - and Israel itself, Moscow is talking about an imminent military conflagration as a result of the continuing US and Israeli military buildup in the Persian Gulf.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said Tuesday, April 3: “The Middle East standoff could boil over into military action at any moment.” Referring to the massing of military and naval forces in the Persian Gulf, he said: The pot can explode if the diplomatic valve is not opened.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel Tuesday in Prague said she believed member states "will pass powers to Europe step by step as we have already done in many spheres." "European politics will be more and more the internal politics," she said, according to Ceske noviny.

Perhaps today! Maranatha!

Be encouraged from Psalm 63:

1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.

2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
and beheld your power and your glory.
3 Because your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
and in your name I will lift up my hands.

And yet, stocks were WELL off their
lows, I am NOT convinced that the
END is here yet. Bears usually do
start off slow however, and then
accelerate, that could be the game
now.

WE MAY have changed trend, i am just not sure. Dow down 124....
I need to see action over the
next week. Stocks will be CLOSED
for good FRI.....

wave counts appear COMPLETE....
but need confirmation from bears
that this is REAL.....patience
is needed.......
