1967 Lies

Just when I was ready to move on to some different news (other than the calls for Israel to retreat back to 1967 borders), I came across this interesting and germane commentary, and it is worth posting:

1967 Lies

Yes, I said 1967 lies, not 1967 lines. President Obama today totally and shamelessly moved the United States of America into direct violation of Joel 3:2, the consequences of which will bring fearful calamities on America. I am not making this up.

He proclaimed this seismic shift in US policy, at a time when this nation has suffered six weeks of continuous tragedies already, including two rounds of killer tornadoes, fires in Texas and now flooding in the Mississippi River and delta. I use the word seismic with great trepidation since earthquake is the one natural disaster we have not seen. To quote Thomas Jefferson, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever.

Let’s look deeper into Joel 3:2.

"I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land"

First, note that the historical timing of this event is clear from verse one; it is after God has regathered Israel from all the nations into their own land. The reason for the prophesied judgment of God is simple. The nations have divided His land

Now we turn to the ramifications of Israel's potential return to the '67 borders:

Israel is now 45 miles wide; the entire country is only 45 miles wide! Reverting to the 1967 pre-war borders would make Israel 8 (EIGHT!) miles wide. What is wrong with this picture? President Obama has agreed to the Palestinian pre-condition demanded by Yassar Arafat. This division of the land would assure Israel’s destruction by the growing menace of radical Islam surrounding them. With friends like President Obama, who needs enemies?

The world is also rewriting the history of 1967. Again, Israel was drawn into war by invading armies. When the dust settled, Israel had a miraculous victory and control of more land (Gaza, West Bank, the Sinai and the Golan Heights). President Obama thinks it is a good idea for Israel to give it all back so they can try again. Either way, there will be war. Obama’s speech simply moves up the timing.

Helen Thomas was wrong. The Jews will not “go back where they came from.” There is no other place for them. Israel is their land and they are there to stay, not by UN permission, but by the authority of Almighty Yehovah God and His unbreakable promise.

Lets collectively shout "AMEN" at that last comment.

Funny part is, on ctv news last night, they said that Obama was "on israels side". That made me laugh.

James Dickens here in Nashville, Tennessee. I am going to go out on a limb here and say what I think is coming America's way in the next few weeks.

Because of the disrespectful way obama has treated God in directly calling God out in his speech yesterday, I believe we are going to see a major event here in the U.S.

I don't know if any of you are sensing the same thing but I believe there is a so called natural disaster that is going to happen in the central U.S.

Currently we already have the record flood level with the Mississippi River and other weather happenings in the U.S. I think now we are going to see a major earthquake here in the next few weeks. While God can do anything He wants to do, I believe that He has to answer obama's speech in a very dramatic way. While an earthquake in the U.S. is routine, especially in California, I believe the coming earthquake will happen in an area not known for a large amount of seismic activity.

God is long suffering, patient and kind, but I now feel that obama has crossed a line in direct defiance of God's command to not divide the land of Israel. Simply stated I believe God has had enough.

We have to be ready to stand up for God now more than ever before. While I believe the rapture is imminent I believe that the Holy Spirit is more active than at any time since the "Day of Pentecost". Look for every opportunity to witness for the Lord. People, who normally are of the world and don't give much thought to world events, are now asking questions and looking at God's prophetic words in a different light. That is the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and our call to action. My brother, who hasn't had a relationship with the Lord in a very long time, said to me a few weeks ago that he has noticed God's word coming true more and more. Now is not a time to be afraid. Let's put on the armor of God and humbly, consistently and out of love proclaim the promise of salvation only through Jesus Christ. With that promise comes not the hope of Heaven but the fact of Heaven and living in paradise with Jesus Christ forever.

God bless all of you and let's start sharing some success stories on witnessing for the Lord in this blog created by our dear brother in Christ Scott.

Great comment James! I have had similar feelings.

In response to James' comment: "People, who normally are of the world and don't give much thought to world events, are now asking questions and looking at God's prophetic words in a different light."

I'm one of those people. This is my first time on this site. Reading the headline about Obama's speech this morning started me thinking again, for the first time in years, about my prior bible studies and biblical prophecy, and how our leaders' poor decisions will impact the country.

Welcome to the blog brother. Thank you for your comments. Scott Sykes, the creator of this blog has provided us a place to come together and receive the literal interpretation of God's word. The world tries to interpret God's word but we are not to do that. We let God interpret his word. I'm grateful that you are here and I will pray that you keep growing closer to God in the coming days. God bless you my friend.

BWest, welcome!!!

I'm praying for mercy on our country. This is hard to watch unfold, yet we know how it ends. Thank you Lord! Maranatha!

Dylan, our media spins Obama just like yours. It's a constant barrage of lies. They think we are stupid, too, and passively believing the lies they promulgate. I'm praying for peace with all of this, and the words to explain things to my many unbelieving friends...

There has been a LOT of talk about the New Madrid fault zone near the Mississippi. The largest ever quake in the US happened there (early 1900s if recall correctly) and it is overdue. FEMA has been running disaster drills for that very scenario.

Non-Christian prophets have long "seen" a US divided in two by a miles-wide Mississippi, with the western third of the US also under water. Just sayin'.

Alice said...

Paula, I live very near the Mississippi, but safely (I hope) up on a bluff. However, my dh crosses the river to work in St. Louis every day. I've been wondering if he should have any specific provisions on hand in his car...? Any thoughts?

I've heard of the "prophecies" of which you speak. I also have friends who have taken part in the FEMA disaster training classes. Strange that they (our government) would feel this urgent need to train people (HAARP, anyone?).

Paula said...

Alice,

Most people think it's a good idea to have a "bugout box" in the car in such areas, meaning a box of dried foods, water, meds, etc. that can tide you over till you can reach safety, assuming you can get to your car. They also recommend a pre-arranged meeting place for loved ones since it would be unlikely that the phones will work.

Many have said that preceding an earthquake they saw unusual lights in the sky, and I don't have the link but they claim there's scientific backing for this, though they don't know what causes it exactly (escaping radon?). HAARP is one possibility since it heats the atmosphere at some level and the lights are associated with increased temperature.

But probably the most reliable warning will be from animals and birds. If they suddenly get frantic or disappear, head for the car.

Hi James~

GG~ from the northern part of Illinois, near Chicago. I am fairly new to this wonderful group of Christians. I believe I was divinely led to this site a month prior to experiencing the most amazing rapture dream on 4-21-11. In my dream I was told by God to go out and tell the nations. I did not know what that meant, but I followed his promptings and searched a few Christian sites that dealt with dreams. Scared, but I posted it there, job done. It may have sounded silly but I knew in my heart I was doing as I was told. I will post that below. It was received well.

Prior to the dream I was led here when the Japan earthquake took place and was welcomed by such love and supporting information to match against the bible. It was like getting a daily newspaper of truth instead of garbage mixed on TV.

I humbly share this that from here I have been further prompted to go out and spread the word and pray for Israel, America, our home and the children of Damascus-- thanks to the fine work other brothers and sisters here are doing. After following those leads, I was further prompted to send an e-mail to all my friends and family sharing the news about God as the time is drawing near.

It was scary but not one person wrote back anything mean, in fact many have written in kind and I believe God is using this time to reach even my agnostic family members. I simply let the Holy Spirit help me write the e-mail and I linked this site to them so they can see for themselves how the worldly and scriptural prophecies are now coming together.

I promise I don't say these things to brag. I just wanted to share since James mentioned it here, just how God has used me in one month. After I made my first post on the other forum, the next day my Mom passed away. Instead of sadness, I was so happy because I knew based on that dream and God's word she was in a much better place.

This is my testimonial. I have since been going out and getting little bibles from the dollar store and writing a note to the finder and leaving them on park benches as God has instructed me to do in the past, but I thought it sounded too crazy  It seems odd from a worldly aspect, but it is oooohhh so right full-filling the word of God. Praise be to God for loving his children so much! I love having this chance to share with everyone here and to learn to continue to grow in Christ.

For Ally~ We had a 4.3 earthquake here on February 10, 2011. There are many times as night, I can feel little rumblings on the ground under our house. I would not surprise me if a bigger one comes through here in the future. I believe your fault line runs through here, correct? It’s nice meeting people from different locations. I usually don’t share that but I feel like we are a mini family here . Stay safe everyone.

2nd Dream - 2nd Week -April 21, 2011

Good Morning...

I am new to the forum. I have had two dreams, each a week apart in nature.

Last week’s dream was simply that I was among many from my past and we were in heaven. We all stood around very peaceful and listening with simple white robes and gold braided belts. I can recall we were listening and following the call of God on our lives. It was as if we were attending for further knowledge and we must listen. Then I woke up, but felt ever so peaceful and alert.

Last night’s dream came with such clarity. I had been out in a public place running errands with my little girl. I can recall there were many people around not doing anything out of the norm. Then there was this great tingling in my feet moving up to my hair. It was peaceful and scary at the same time. I looked at my daughter and our feet were starting to move off the ground toward the sky. The sky was so opened and I could see and feel Jesus so clearly. I remember her looking at me and asking what was happening. I simply took her hand and told her it was time. Jesus has arrived and it's time to go home. I also could see back on the earth and there was sudden grayness and darkness among the land. There were people starting to scramble and so many looking up in dismay and confusion. I remember the day was set in a semi-gray mode, later afternoon but when the sky was open above me it was cumulous clouds on 3 sides and Jesus right in the middle. The feeling as we got closer felt so right. I had never been that happy in my life and I was so grateful that God loved me so much in my very hard life that he sent his only son to die for me. I know I don't deserve that gift, but I am ever so grateful, especially on this day that I had received it many years ago.

I was leery to post to any forums, as I know some of these sites can be brutal on Christians. I am ever so grateful for whatever is taking place. I do believe the time is closer than we all think. I remember in my dream that God said to go out among nations and spread the word. I guess that is why I am posting here this morning. I am not sure what meaning this may have, but I wanted to follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit and do what I was told.

God Bless to all. May someone read this and realize the hour is at hand and take the 5 minutes to repent and recognize Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. For those who don't believe what do you have to lose? 5 minutes and possibly the chance of his loving grace and salvation in your life?

I wish us all the best.

GodsGirls

This was my second post after someone asked why I didn't mention seeing God

Hi To All....

Thank you for the kind replies and insights on the dreams. I honestly can't explain why I didn't see God, I could see Jesus clearly. I could hear God talking to me as a voice of authority and love. The message was clear to tell what I heard and I knew to do it, though I don't fully understand at this time.

God is my Father...and Oh...just a wonderful loving Father. From what I have seen in these two dreams over the past two weeks, it is just a clear understanding to do what he, my Father, has told me to do. In the first dream, it's as if he is preparing those who have come up in the 'catching up' for further work to be done in his kingdom until things are settled once and for all. We just must do what he has asked and it is lovingly understood and everyone is happy to do so. It was the most peaceful feeling with the dread of work removed. I hope that makes better sense. Pure love, a bountiful love with work to be done for the return of Jesus on earth.

The second dream was as I could describe it this morning. It was as if he sent his Son back to get us but I couldn't see God, only hear his message to tell what I had seen.

I hope this adds better clarity. I do not understand myself, but feel very confident that I am not losing my mind --

Have a blessed day!

I've had a few dreams of the sort too, all I remember is asking God what I should do and him replying "bring my word to the middle east" I don't know exactly what that means but I've been on a few forums warning the Arabs that it can only end in disaster if they attack Israel. I've offended some I must admit, but His word offends people.I don't know, but I hope I'm doing what HE told me to do in the right way.

Hi Dylan~

It's scary when you want to follow his promptings and we worry if we are doing him a dis-service in his work :) I keep hearing in my soul his words from Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

I think as long as we are obeying instead of being a sluggard he is pleased :)

Dylan, I was 10 years old when I knelt with 2 of my friends and led them to Christ through the sinners prayer. You are never too young to be a light that shines the way home. Think of it this way: You are not just a student, you are a missionary that happens to be a student. :-) Thank you for reaching out to the lost and may the saints rejoice over the salvation of another soul.

Your sis in Christ,
~gearedup2go

PS, I am really looking forward to meeting you and our little blog family on that special day.

Yeah, well it's also important to talk about Jesus in personal life, and that I have more "trouble" with. Please pray that I could be more open about my faith in school and around my friends. I have Christian friends who I'm open with faith about, but it's hard when talking to agnostic and people of other religions. So please pray that the spirit would move me to be more open about my faith around my nonchristian friends.

JAMES,
Thanks for the comments, and I completely agree.

GG - Wow. thats quite a testimony! Thanks so much for sharing that, and I must say, I had goose bumps the whole time I was reading !

It makes me think of this prophecy from Joel 2:28

"I will pour out my spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams
your young men will see visions"

Scott, are you going to make a post on the Netanyahu/Obama meeting? I hear Benjamin told off Barack. Also, have you considered starting a Facebook fanpage for this site? Just a suggestion.

Scott have you had any of Campings followers stop by and post comments? Maybe they will surface after their big disappointment tomorrow. Hopefully they will become Biblical prophecy wathcers after the big let down? I guess we should lift them up in prayer so that they will escape this false teacher.

WV - The whole problem with the people attempting to 'date set' make our witness so much harder. Its so easy (albeit intellectually lazy) to then just lump all of us together - as if we're just a variation of these folks. Its just another obstacle to overcome

I'll have to check the spam and see if there is anything there.

Dylan, Yes - I want to gather as much pertinent info on that meeting. I've been off-line a lot lately - my Dad is sick and they are about 2 hours away, so I've been back and forth a lot and I'll be out most of tomorrow as well.

I was getting texts all day about Netanyahu's comments LOL! So I'm keeping updated!

GG, you totally inspired me! I was riveted to your story. Thank you! (although I had to grab a kleenex) I love the idea of buying Bibles at the dollar store and leaving them places with a personal note in them! I think I will do the same!

Scott, I too will pray for your father.

Dylan, I will pray for you to have boldness with your agnostic friends. I need the same exact prayers... And yes, Bibi definitely shut Barry down. He said "it's not going to happen." I'm guessing Barry's narcissistic self isn't handling the whole thing too well.

BWest, maybe we should meet for coffee someday? I'm quite certain I could think of a reason I need to cross the river! With my bugout box in the back, of course! (Thanks, Paula! Great tip!)

Yes, I can't wait to meet everyone soon and very soon! (but not tomorrow)

Dylan said...

There's a question that's been on my mind. Let's say there's a tribe who has never heard even the name "Jesus". Do they go to hell too because they don't believe in Jesus? Does God somehow have a plan of redemption for them too, maybe giving them the choice to accept Christ after their death? I know that in this day and age there's few who haven't heard of Christ, but what about when say japan was isolated or north America hadn't been colonized yet? Did they go to hell because they hadn't even heard of Jesus?

Scott said...

Alice, You're the kind of prayer partner that I like :)

Dylan, this actually came up a few months ago and as I recall, there was a good discussion. I think the bottom line ended up with the notion that God will be "fair" and "just", and we just have to put our trust in Him - that He has ways that we probably can't even consider with our feeble minds (as compared to God's).

For whatever reasons, there are some things that God doesn't share with us - while we're on this planet. This is one of those things IMO.

The prayers are greatly appreciated; there is so much power in prayer as we all know.

Scott, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I hope you will find my recent post inspirational and exciting for his upcoming journey :) I am excited for us all too! Silly me keeps thinking how will we find each other when we get there? Do we have a code word - ha ha..or...are we all blessed with new wisdom that we will just know how to look for each other :)

I am excited to pray for everyone here and whatever causes that are pressed upon your hearts. I know our lives are busy but maybe we could set a noon time prayer before we grab a bite to eat. I am sure we are able to come together for that cause :) Just a thought.

Alice, you are so sweet. I hope you get those bibles. I also started thinking about rainy days so my little one and I use the opportunities of stores, ladies rooms, just about any place someone might accidently find something.

Be safe today and I see New Zealand is just fine :) I am happy to see on some media outlets they have been working to try to separate the May 21st group on people from other Christians who do not believe in Mr. Campings predictions. I pray many will not be sad today and take their own lives trying to speed things up. That is one prayer I can think of today. Is to pray for those who followed him.

God Bless!

@Dylan re. those who never heard the gospel:

Agree with Scott of course, that the bottom line is whether we trust God to be fair and merciful. The problem comes in the implications.

If God will save those who haven't heard, then why do we spread the gospel? People who hear the gospel are obligated to decide whether to accept it or not, while those who never heard can be saved just by being good, so it would mean spreading the gospel is a bad thing!

But as Paul told the Greek philosophers, "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent". Other NT scriptures refer to the Gentiles as once having been "without hope and without God in the world". And of course there's the Great Commission.

So on one hand we have the "mercy" view which can lead to Universalism, and on the other we have very clear scriptures about the need for us to spread the gospel. The answer to the dilemma, then, is "both/and": we must spread the gospel and those who hear it must choose whether to accept it or not, and if the gospel doesn't get to everyone then God will have mercy. If we lean too hard on either side we will be teaching either Universalism or a cold, hard, "too bad about your luck" legalism.

Hi Paula~

I thought I remember hearing somewhere that Jesus would not be returning until everyone has had a chance to hear the gosspel preached. Is that true? I just have to think in my heart with all of today's technology, all these TV shows with ministry partners, etc...that the word is being spread rapidly. What people do with that opportunity is part of the picture too, correct?

In our church we have had missionaries who have left China under the promptings of the Holy Spirit. They have been there for 10 years spreading the word. God has sent them into the middle east now to finish up. The way they explained it after this last portion, one can safely say the word has been spread across the nations. I have to believe God is true to his word :)

Have a good day!

And last dream 2 or 3 days ago, that Jesus wear The Crown and began to walk out from His Throne and from castle.

@GG: Jesus did say in Mt. 23:10 that his disciples would not finish going through the Jewish towns before "the Son of Man comes", and in Mt. 24:14 that after the gospel is preached in the whole world then the end will come. The first statement concerns Israel and the second everyone else. I agree, not only have missionaries been all over the world, not even in Israel where it is against the law to proselytise can the gospel be kept out, because of modern global communications.

@Obeth: I do believe Jesus has his "hand on the doorknob" and is as eager to come for us as we are to see him. We must surely be near to reaching that last Gentile for Christ!
