Two Headlines Tell The Story

This one should be obvious, so I'll shut up and let the headlines do the talking. (Hint: Genesis 12:3):

"U.S. Cuts Funding for Israeli Defense Systems"

Compare and contrast:

"Israel blames U.S., France for arming Lebanon"

United States has given Lebanon approximately $400 million over the past year to purchase arms, despite Israel's objections.

Israel will launch a diplomatic campaign calling on the United States and France to stop their military assistance to Lebanon following Tuesday's exchange of fire on the northern border.

"Countries are providing the Lebanese army with advanced weaponry for it to fight Hezbollah, and instead the Lebanese army is using the weapons to fire on IDF soldiers," a senior official in Jerusalem said on Tuesday.

The United States has given Lebanon approximately $400 million over the past year to purchase arms, despite Israel's objections. France has also sent a great deal of weaponry to Lebanon, including advanced anti-tank missiles.

So the U.S. is scaling back help for Israel, while sending more and more money into Hamas controlled Gaza, and Hezbollah controlled southern Lebanon.

With these actions, Israeli blood will be on our hands. Period. There is no getting around that fact. The U.S. is sending money into these terrorist camps, and the money is being used for more and more missiles - missiles which are destined to be launched into Israeli civilian areas.

God made his feelings on this crystal clear, and the Bible has too many examples of God's response to such actions, to even attempt to list here. Yet the U.S. administration continues to support Israel's enemies while turning against Israel. Historically, this hasn't been a "winning plan" - yet that is the course that the U.S. is currently undertaking.

We'll see where it gets us.
